"We ache for Graham's brave and patient victim, who for years has sought healing and closure but will now have to endure yet another needless delay.

The priest's shrewd lawyers can keep coming up with more and more far-fetched legal theories and technicalities, but we are confident that ultimately Graham will face justice and be found guilty.

This comes as no surprise, since abusive clerics and complicit church officials will do anything to avoid having to face victims in open court and testify under oath about their crimes.

We beg other victims to be persistent in light of yet one more delaying tactic. Justice can sometimes happen, but only if we hang tough despite these desperate legal defense maneuvers.
