CORRECTION; A Wisconsin judge recently determined that Fr. Ryan Erikson shot and killed two men, including Dan O’Connell, a Hudson undertaker. Erikson also took his own life.
Now that the criminal investigation into the murders has ended, O’Connell’s relatives feel a moral duty to honor Dan, speak up, and push for genuine reform and healing within the church.
Superior Diocese Bishop Raphael Fliss has promised to reach out to the O’Connell family but has not done so.
