Details:
As a ten year old, Judy DeLonga was repeatedly molested in the 1960s and 1970s by Fr. Bruce MacArthur, first at a Wisconsin hospital and later on trips across the state and elsewhere. After years of frustration dealing with church officials, DeLonga filed a civil suit on May 21, 2003 in Sioux Falls. Archaic and overly restrictive Wisconsin laws prevented her from seeking justice here.
MacArthur worked at three Milwaukee parishes (St. Therese’s, St. Phillip’s and St. Rose of Lima) and at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He also worked at churches in Washington DC, Texas, Mexico, Africa and in ten South Dakota towns.
DeLonga, now in her 50s, is married but has no children, has been a special education teacher, and now lives in Virginia.
MacArthur is now living at RECON, a church-run housing center for pedophile priests in St. Louis MO.
