ST. LOUIS • The priest accused in an FBI sex sting last week pleaded not guilty on Monday.
The Rev. James Patrick Grady, 57, pastor of St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in south St. Louis, was arrested Wednesday after allegedly agreeing to pay $80 for oral sex from a 16-year-old girl. Grady was responding to an online ad offering young girls, federal court documents say. Post Dispatch Story

FBI Says James Patrick Grady Is One of Three Men Nabbed in Sting

ST. LOUIS, MO ( KPLR ) - A St. Louis area priest is charged with trying to pay for sex from a sixteen year old girl. However, FBI agents say the "girl" he was communicating with was actually an undercover agent.
The U.S. Attorney's office says James Patrick Grady responded Wednesday to an ad on the internet placed by undercover agents.

The Post Dispatch is reporting - in a lengthy, on-line story - that St. Louis' new archbishop "acknowledges that he didn't report" admitted child sex crimes committed by "one of the country's most notorious pedophile priests" to authorities.
