In addition to sexually abusing me, Fr. Moore also exposed himself to me and showed me pornography. At one point, I fought Moore off and reported him to church staff. But church officials broke their promise to me, in 1977, to kick him out of ministry.

As a result of what he did, I don't seem to be able to trust anyone. For example, I don't like being hugged or touched at all.

Now, I just want the church officials to do the right thing. If church leaders had been more honest with people, I don't think things would have turned out like this.

I'm hoping to get this behind me and get on with my life without carrying this weight.

When they are ready and able, I hope others who were hurt by Moore come forward and get help.
